Parthenon Silk SquareThis beautiful orange, beige and yellow, silk scarf is dedicated to the Parthenon, a jewellery of Humanity. The center piece is a painting of the monument, surrounded by drawings of its famous frieze, and guarded by the Karyatides. The core pieces of the Parthenon Marbles are presently visible in the Museum of the Acropolis in Athens, yet a portion was illicitly taken away by Lord Elgin in 1801 while he was British Ambassador to the Ottoman Empire.
